Overview
Use Schedule Settings to customize how information is displayed and organized in the Scheduler. These settings control employee grouping, visible schedule details, alerts, and other Scheduler preferences.
Open Schedule Settings
- Open the Scheduling tab.
- Select Menu then select Settings

Group Employees
Choose how employees are organized on the schedule.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Schedule | Groups employees by schedule assignment. |
| Schedule, Job | Groups employees by schedule and then by job. |
| None | Displays employees alphabetically without grouping by schedule or job. |

Display Settings
Select which information appears on the Scheduler.
Available options include items such as:
- Job
- Cost
- Schedule
- Location
- Out Time
- House Shift Manager
- Schedule Summary
- Forecast Data
- Labor Budget
- Labor Volume

Alert Settings
Choose which scheduling alerts are displayed in the Scheduler.
Available alerts include:
- Availability
- Minor
- Overtime
- Meal/Break
- ACA

Configuration Settings
Configure default Scheduler behavior.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| View Schedule By | Displays employees by first name, last name, or seniority date. |
| Sort SmartSelect By | Determines how employees are sorted when using SmartSelect. |
| Default Scheduler Week | Sets which week opens by default. |
| Default Shift Length | Sets the default shift duration for new shifts. |

Forecast Comparison
Choose whether meal durations are included when comparing scheduled hours to forecasted labor.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Do Not Include Meal Duration | Excludes unpaid meal periods from the comparison. |
| Include Meal Duration | Includes meal periods when comparing scheduled and forecasted hours. |
