Overview
The Labor Card Report provides a detailed view of your daily forecast data alongside your employee roster. It combines projected labor, sales, and staffing information into a single report to support operational analysis.
This report is designed to help you understand how forecasted labor aligns with scheduled employees and operational demand.
Before You Begin
To generate accurate results, ensure the following steps are completed:
- A forecast has been generated
- Hours have been generated using the Generate Schedule step in HotSchedules
- Assign scheduled shifts to employees to utilize the roster portion of the report

Using Filters in the Report
Use the report settings to control which data is included in the Labor Card Report:
- Date – Select a single day to generate the report

Labor Card Details
- Select the interval for how data is grouped (for example, 15-minute intervals)
- Choose which data points to include (such as guest counts, sales, or hours)

Roster Details
- Select which employee details appear in the roster view (such as names, job, location, and shift times)

Report Modules
- Include additional data, such as flagged Logbook entries or overtime warnings

Available Shifts
- Select which shifts to include (for example, AM or PM)

Schedules
- Select one or more schedules to include in the report

Jobs
- Filter results by job codes with applied labor projections
- Job codes without projections will not be available
Understanding the Report
The Labor Card Report is divided into two main sections:

Forecast and Labor Summary
This section displays forecasted data based on your selected labor card details filters (such as guest counts, sales, or hours)
The values shown under each job code represent the number of shifts created during the Generate Schedule step

Roster View
This section displays the daily employee schedule and is designed to mirror the standard Roster Report
Employee shifts are organized based on your roster details filters (such as names, job, location, and shift times)
Can include Logbook entries, if enabled and selected in your filters
