Overview
Managers can assign a minor status to employees from the Staff Details page. Minor status classifications determine how minor labor rules are applied during scheduling.
Updating Minor Status
Minor status is managed within the employee’s Staff Details page.
To update minor status:
- On the Staff Details page, locate the Minor Status field.
Select a status from the dropdown.
Minor Status Options
The following classifications may be available:
- Standard Minor – Applies existing minor scheduling rules. This is the default for employees identified as minors.
- Emancipated Minor – Excludes the employee from minor scheduling restrictions.
Additional Information
- Minor status is visible in the Scheduler and Staff List for quick reference.
- Employees classified as Emancipated Minor are not subject to minor scheduling restrictions or related exception reporting.
- Availability of minor status options may vary based on configuration.
